What is SLA used for?

Composite Tooling Applications – SLA printers facilitate the production of high detail parts and even with a slower 3D printer like an SLA machine, composite tooling times can be reduced from weeks to days.

Rapid Prototyping – While SLA parts are more expensive than FDM, they are still considerably cheaper than traditional methods.
